Cookie policy
How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control optional analytics and marketing services.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains how The Tiny Thai website uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. It should be read with our privacy policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information on your device without using a traditional cookie. The same consent rules apply to non-essential storage and access technologies.
2. Your choices
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept all optional categories, reject non-essential technologies, or manage categories separately. Necessary storage is always active because it records and applies your choice. You can reopen the preference panel at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer.
Google Analytics remains disabled unless you allow analytics. Switching analytics off stops further measurement by this website and removes Google Analytics cookies that this website can access. It also prevents Analytics from loading on later visits while your choice remains valid. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
3. Storage used by this website
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tiny_thai_cookie_consent |
Necessary local storage | Remembers your cookie choices and when you made them. | The choice is valid for 365 days. On your next visit after that, we ask again. You can change or delete it sooner. |
_ga |
Optional analytics cookie | Helps Google Analytics distinguish visitors. | Google’s default is two years; browser limits can shorten this. |
_ga_<container-id> |
Optional analytics cookie | Helps Google Analytics retain session information. | Google’s default is two years; browser limits can shorten this. |
| WordPress login and preference cookies | Necessary | Used by authorised people signing in to manage the website. They are not expected during ordinary public browsing. | Varies with the cookie and sign-in preferences. |
4. Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to the website and interactions with links, including booking and takeaway links. It loads only after you allow analytics. Rejecting analytics leaves browsing, menus and links available.
The cookie durations above are Google’s published defaults, rather than a promise that every browser will retain a cookie for that long. Read Google’s explanation of Analytics cookies for more information.
5. Optional marketing measurement
There are no marketing tags configured in this website. Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight are not currently loaded. Choosing the marketing category does not activate advertising tracking in the current setup.
We will update this policy and review the consent choices before adding optional tracking services.
6. External booking, ordering and social websites
Links to TOGO, KuulSeats, TouchTakeaway, Square, Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook open external websites. Those providers may set cookies under their own policies after you follow the link. Their cookies are not controlled by this website’s preference panel.
7. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may cause the consent banner to reappear or prevent preferences from being remembered.
8. Changes and contact
We will review this table when the website’s services or tracking configuration changes. For questions, email thetinythai@gmail.com or use the details on our contact page.
